In 2010, in Türkiye, 30-bed capacity mobile surgical hospitals and mobile first aid stations were implemented by DORÇE under a Design & Build model.
The Mobile Medical Hospital and Mobile First Aid Stations project was developed to provide rapidly deployable, fully equipped, and high-technology mobile medical solutions for military and civilian emergency healthcare services. The implementation was carried out for Gama Trading & Tourism Inc., with the end user being defense and security units operating under the coordination of the Turkish Presidency of Defence Industries.
Within this scope, DORÇE delivered mobile field hospitals and first aid stations on a turnkey basis using a Design & Build approach.
Fully Equipped Mobile Field Hospitals
DORÇE is an international solution provider that designs, manufactures, and commissions fully equipped mobile field hospitals and mobile first aid stations for military operations, humanitarian aid missions, and crisis management scenarios. The developed mobile systems are supported by engineering and R&D studies to meet requirements for rapid deployment, high security, and advanced medical capacity in the field.
DORÇE mobile field hospitals provide comprehensive diagnostic, treatment, and emergency intervention capabilities, including endoscopy, X-ray, ultrasound, orthopedics, and general surgery. These systems are used for both routine surgical procedures and emergency medical services, enabling military medical personnel to achieve working conditions comparable to those of a permanent healthcare facility within a very short time in the field.
The mobile systems can be manufactured to be bulletproof and blast-resistant, suitable for all strategic scenarios and climatic conditions. Depending on operational requirements, they can be equipped with alarm systems, heating and cooling solutions, CCTV, security, and warning systems. These solutions do not require a specially reinforced ground and can be operational within only 2 hours.
Thanks to their ISO steel container-based modular design, the mobile field hospitals can be transported by land, sea, and air. The modules are supported by trailer solutions that ensure safe loading and unloading, providing armed forces and security units with a significant mobilization advantage during operations.
Within this framework, DORÇE manufactures and commissions mobile field hospitals and first aid stations for the United Nations, the Turkish Armed Forces, NATO, and NATO member countries, as well as across Africa, the CIS region, South America, and the Middle East.
ISO Steel Container-Based Modular System
Within the scope of the project, 17 ISO steel containers were used for the hospital area and 8 ISO steel containers for the first aid area. These modules were configured to include emergency units, surgical material storage, sterilization and laundry units, medical gas units, support units, kitchen facilities, water treatment and distribution systems, black water units, equipment maintenance areas, morgue, decontamination zones, storage units, and first aid stations.
The mobile system, with a total area of 369.24 m², can be flexibly configured according to on-site operational requirements.
High Security and Climate Resistance
The mobile field hospitals can be manufactured to be bulletproof and blast-resistant, suitable for all strategic situations and climate conditions. Depending on needs, they can be equipped with alarm systems, heating and cooling systems, CCTV solutions, security, and warning systems.
These features enable the mobile systems to provide safe and uninterrupted healthcare services in crisis regions.
Logistics, Portability, and Rapid Mobilization
DORÇE’s integrated mobile medical solutions are transportable by land, sea, and air. The modules are supported by trailer systems that secure loading and unloading processes, providing a significant mobilization advantage for armed forces and security units during operations.
Global Operational Experience
Within the scope of mobile field hospitals and first aid stations, DORÇE produces mobile medical systems for the United Nations, the Turkish Armed Forces, NATO, and NATO member countries, across Africa, the CIS region, South America, and the Middle East.
