In Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, a consulate building construction project was implemented by DORÇE for the United States of America (USA) Embassy, using prefabricated panel system structures.
The Consulate Buildings Project, constructed in Kathmandu, Nepal, for the United States of America (USA) Embassy, was developed to meet the high security, rapid construction, and quality requirements specific to diplomatic facilities. Within the scope of the project, two separate consulate buildings were successfully completed by DORÇE using prefabricated panel system building technology.
Planned with consideration for challenging geographical conditions and logistical constraints, the project was realized in a short period of time thanks to prefabricated construction systems that provide controlled production and fast assembly advantages.
Fast and Secure Construction with Prefabricated Panel System Building Technology
The prefabricated panel system building technology selected for the project was designed to meet the high structural durability, application precision, and security standards required for diplomatic facilities. Structural panels manufactured in a factory environment were transported to the site and installed using on-site assembly methods, allowing the consulate buildings to be made ready for use rapidly.
International Logistics and On-Site Assembly
Structural components of the consulate buildings were shipped to Nepal after undergoing DORÇE’s production and quality control processes. On-site assembly works were completed with the level of precision and coordination required for international diplomatic projects. This approach contributed to shortening the project duration and minimizing on-site risks.
Solutions Tailored for Diplomatic Facilities
The United States of America (USA) Embassy Consulate Buildings Project was planned in line with the security, operational continuity, and functional usage criteria required for diplomatic facilities. The two separate buildings were designed to enable consular services to be carried out efficiently.
International Reference and DORÇE Experience
This project, completed in Kathmandu, Nepal, stands as a strong reference reflecting DORÇE’s expertise in prefabricated and modular building technologies and its experience in international diplomatic projects. The project represents a successful example of DORÇE’s turnkey solutions delivered in different geographies, under challenging site conditions, and for structures requiring high security.
