Rapid-Installation Modular Wet Area Units for Emergency Situations and Field Operations
The prefabricated modular toilet and shower containers implemented by DORÇE in Iraq have been developed to ensure uninterrupted hygiene services under challenging field conditions, offering portable and rapidly deployable solutions. The modular container units produced within the scope of the project were designed to establish an integrated infrastructure suitable for both mobile field operations and emergency and field service applications.
The modular solutions included in this project represent a significant application example reflecting DORÇE’s engineering expertise in mobile healthcare and hygiene infrastructure.
Why Prefabricated Modular Toilet and Shower Containers?
Prefabricated modular toilet and shower containers are portable wet area solutions developed to meet hygiene needs in locations where infrastructure is limited or completely unavailable. These container units are effectively used in military sites, humanitarian aid zones, temporary settlements, field hospitals, and emergency response areas.
At the same time, these solutions play a critical role as complementary components of field-type healthcare units, established using prefabricated and modular building systems designed for emergency healthcare services, first response operations, and temporary or mobile medical needs.
The modular container structures produced by DORÇE can be delivered as partially assembled packages or fully assembled modules, providing a fast, practical, and easy installation advantage on site.
Project Scope and Technical Features
Within the scope of this project completed in Iraq, the modular container solutions were planned not only as toilet and shower units but also to operate in integration with modular infirmary and field healthcare units.
The modular/container building system used was manufactured in a factory environment and delivered ready for on-site use, equipped with hygiene-compliant interior fittings, sanitary infrastructure, and durable superstructure components.
Advantages of Modular Wet Area Containers in Emergency and Field Use
Prefabricated modular toilet and shower containers provide critical advantages, particularly for emergency relief operations and mobile field services. These advantages include:
• Rapid production and installation
• High portability
• Infrastructure-independent operation
• Design compliant with hygiene and health standards
• Easy relocation to different locations
Thanks to these features, modular wet area containers have become an indispensable component of field healthcare services and temporary living areas.
DORÇE’s Expertise in Modular Hygiene and Field Healthcare Structures
This project implemented in Iraq demonstrates DORÇE’s expertise in prefabricated modular container structures, mobile hygiene solutions, and field healthcare infrastructure. With its ability to deliver rapid production and reliable deployment, even in regions with harsh geographical and operational conditions, DORÇE continues to serve as a strong reference in international field projects.
The modular toilet and shower containers developed within this scope have been realized through DORÇE’s engineering-driven approach, flexible design capability, and international project experience.
