The Adana Vaccine Storage Facility Project is a strategic public investment implemented by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Türkiye and financed by the World Bank, aimed at strengthening Türkiye’s healthcare logistics infrastructure. The project is located in the Havutlu area of the Yüreğir district in Adana and involves the turnkey construction of a modern vaccine storage facility with a total enclosed area of 2,520 m².
Designed in line with the cold chain requirements, high hygiene standards, and temperature-controlled storage needs that are critical to the healthcare sector, the facility is being constructed using a Light Gauge Steel Frame (LGSF) structural system. This construction method enables rapid installation, long-term durability, and high operational efficiency.
Safe and Controlled Storage with Light Steel Construction Technology
- The Adana Vaccine Storage Facility Project has been designed using light steel construction technology specifically developed for healthcare logistics. This system provides the following advantages:
- Fast Implementation
Rapid on-site installation enabled by factory-produced structural components - Hygiene and Control
Controlled interior spaces suitable for the safe storage of vaccines and medical products - Temperature and Humidity Management
Infrastructure compatible with cold chain requirements - Structural Durability
Load-bearing systems compliant with current seismic regulations and healthcare facility standards
Turnkey Healthcare Logistics Infrastructure
Within the scope of the project, infrastructure and superstructure works, structural systems, and electrical and mechanical installations are handled through an integrated approach. The implementation period is planned for 240 days, aiming to ensure uninterrupted and secure healthcare logistics operations.
The facility offers a contemporary and sustainable solution that serves as a benchmark for vaccine storage centers, cold chain logistics infrastructure, and public healthcare facilities.
A Strategic Reference for Türkiye’s Healthcare Infrastructure
The Adana Vaccine Storage Facility Project demonstrates DORÇE’s engineering and execution capabilities in healthcare buildings, light steel construction systems, and internationally financed public infrastructure projects. Its financing by the World Bank confirms that the project is being delivered in compliance with international quality, sustainability, and transparency standards.
