The prefabricated modular WC and shower containers developed by DORÇE provide flexible, portable, and rapidly deployable hygiene solutions for different sectors and site conditions. Within the scope of projects implemented in various cities across Türkiye, modular WC and shower units customized to operational requirements were successfully delivered for Trendyol and Turkish Petroleum Offshore Technology Center (TP – OTC).

Both projects were executed under the Design and Build model and were designed with different interior layouts, capacities, and functional solutions in line with the employers’ on-site usage scenarios.

What Are Prefabricated Modular WC, Shower, and Wet Area Containers?

Prefabricated modular WC and shower containers are portable container units developed to meet wet area requirements in locations where infrastructure is limited or completely unavailable. These solutions ensure sustainable hygiene in post-disaster temporary settlements, field areas, mobile operation sites, and emergency zones.

These container units, which can integrate WC, shower, and other wet area functions within a single structure, are manufactured in a factory environment, transported to the site, and can be commissioned rapidly with minimal on-site work. Thanks to these features, they provide a highly effective and practical solution during post-disaster first response operations.

Project Scope and Implementation Details

Within the scope of the implemented projects:

• 12 units were produced and delivered for Trendyol for use in various cities across Türkiye
• 32 units were produced and delivered for TP-OTC for use at the Adıyaman location

The system used in the projects consists of modular steel container units, and the scope of work includes engineering and technical design studies, superstructure manufacturing, and interior fit-out applications suitable for WC, shower, and other wet area functions. All units were delivered ready for immediate on-site use. The projects were successfully completed as of February 2023.
