Information Request Form
In 2005, at a time when security, speed, and quality requirements were paramount for diplomatic facilities, the United States Embassy Buildings Project, produced by DORÇE in Ankara, transported to Algeria, and assembled on site using a light steel structural system, was successfully implemented.
The United States of America (USA) Embassy Buildings Project constructed in Algeria is a comprehensive light steel structure project designed to meet the high security, durability, and rapid execution requirements specific to diplomatic buildings. The project was realized by DORÇE within the scope of Engineering and Superstructure Construction, in full compliance with international standards.
With a total enclosed area of 5,920 m², the project consists of three separate buildings, all constructed using light steel load-bearing system technology.
Production in Ankara, International Logistics, and On-Site Assembly
All structural components included in the project were prefabricated at DORÇE’s production facilities in Ankara. The manufactured light steel structural elements were transported to the site via sea freight through the Port of Algiers. This method enabled effective quality control management while significantly reducing on-site construction time.
The assembly works carried out in Algeria were completed rapidly and efficiently using the on-site installation method, allowing the buildings to be made ready for use within a short timeframe.
Efficient and Secure Construction with Light Steel Structural System
The light steel load-bearing system offers significant advantages for diplomatic buildings in terms of high structural performance, precise execution, and controlled construction processes. Thanks to the use of this system in the USA Embassy Buildings Project, on-site labor time was reduced while security and quality standards were ensured at the highest level.
Project Duration and Implementation Approach
The project was successfully completed between May 2005 and January 2006. The building complex, delivered within a short timeframe, was planned to include the functional spaces and technical infrastructure required for international diplomatic facilities.
International Reference and DORÇE Experience
The USA Embassy Buildings Project stands as a strong reference demonstrating DORÇE’s expertise in light steel construction technology, international logistics management, and rapid on-site assembly. The project is among the key examples reflecting DORÇE’s experience in diplomatic buildings and high-security international facilities.
