In 1997, using a prefabricated modular light steel structural system, which was an innovative and pioneering technology for its time, a modern administrative building was realized for BOTAŞ in Ankara by DORÇE under the design and construction model.

The BOTAŞ Regional Directorate Administrative Building, constructed in Ankara, the capital of Türkiye, for BOTAŞ Petroleum Pipeline Corporation (BOTAŞ Boru Hatları ile Petrol Taşıma A.Ş.), is a turnkey public building implemented using prefabricated light steel construction technology. The project was planned and executed by DORÇE Prefabricated Buildings & Construction within the scope of the Design & Construction model. Designed as a modern administrative building serving the energy sector, the structure was developed with functional office spaces and a long service life objective.

With a total enclosed area of 3,000 m², the administrative building is located within a 6,500 m² project area. Thanks to the prefabricated modular light steel load-bearing system, the building was completed in a short time, offering advantages such as a rapid construction process and high structural durability. The project was completed and delivered ready for use in approximately 10 months in 1997.

Construction of a Two-Storey Prefabricated Modular Light Steel Administrative Building

The administrative building constructed within the scope of the project was designed using a two-storey prefabricated modular light steel structural system. The light steel load-bearing system provides a combination of rapid installation, architectural flexibility, and high performance criteria required for public buildings. Through this system, the building was planned and implemented in accordance with the administrative and operational requirements of the energy sector.

Engineering, Superstructure, and Infrastructure Works

In the BOTAŞ Regional Directorate Administrative Building project, engineering works were addressed with a holistic approach, taking into account structural, architectural, and infrastructure requirements. Superstructure and infrastructure works were completed in compliance with public standards and BOTAŞ’s institutional requirements. The building was equipped with functional interior space solutions suitable for office use and the necessary technical infrastructure systems.

Furniture, Equipment Supply, and Commissioning Process

In addition to construction activities, the procurement of office furniture and technical equipment to be used within the building was also included in the project scope. After completing all testing and commissioning procedures, the administrative building was delivered to BOTAŞ on a turnkey basis.
