The Prefabricated School Buildings Project, implemented across 15 different locations in Türkiye under the clientship of UNICEF, is a multi-site and strategic reference project that demonstrates Dorce’s expertise in humanitarian aid programs, educational infrastructure, and modular steel building technologies. The project was planned and delivered to ensure uninterrupted access to education for Syrian children who arrived in Türkiye due to the crisis in their home country.

Implemented between 2014 and 2015 under a Long Frame Agreement signed with UNICEF, this initiative provided a safe and sustainable solution in circumstances where education infrastructure needed to be activated rapidly. Within the scope of the project, approximately 1,900 m² of prefabricated school facilities were completed on a turnkey basis.

EPC Project Management Expertise in Multi-Location Implementations

The project was executed under the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) model, with Dorce managing all processes under a single, integrated structure. From design and engineering to material supply, from superstructure works to on-site implementation, every stage was delivered with high-level organizational capability required for multi-location project management.

Carried out simultaneously across 15 different regions, this implementation clearly reflects Dorce’s experience in logistics planning, site coordination, and standardized quality management.

Fast and Safe Schools with Modular Steel Building Systems

The Modular Steel Building System selected for the project provided an ideal solution for educational facilities thanks to its rapid installation, structural durability, and long-life performance. Factory-produced structural components minimized on-site construction time while maintaining the highest standards of quality and occupational safety.

This building system ensures safe and healthy learning environments for children, particularly in humanitarian projects designed to deliver permanent rather than temporary education solutions.

Social-Impact-Driven Educational Infrastructure

This project represents not only a building program but also a social-impact-oriented investment that supports children’s fundamental right to education. The schools were designed to provide safe classrooms, structured learning environments, and sustainable education infrastructure for children at risk of being disconnected from education under crisis conditions.

Dorce’s approach in this project goes beyond architecture and engineering, demonstrating a model that places social needs at the center.

Strong Collaboration Experience with International Organizations

The Prefabricated School Buildings Project delivered for UNICEF across Türkiye stands as an important reference strengthening Dorce’s reliability in education and humanitarian aid projects implemented with United Nations agencies. Dorce continues to deliver rapid, durable, and scalable building solutions that safeguard continuity of education under conditions such as disaster, crisis, and migration.

This project clearly demonstrates that Dorce delivers international-standard, socially responsible, and long-term solutions in educational infrastructure through its modular steel building technology.
