DORÇE’s Speed, Durability, and Integrated Modular EPC Competence in the Defense Sector
An International Reference in Integrated Modular Military Camp Solutions

With the Office and Accommodation Camp Project delivered for the Balad Military Air Base (Anaconda) located in the Balad region of Iraq, DORÇE demonstrated its engineering capacity, rapid mobilization capability, and full EPC approach at the highest level within the defense sector. Executed for the United States Army under the main contractorship of KBR (Kellogg Brown & Root), the project covered the construction of all accommodation buildings, administrative facilities, and support units that are critical for ensuring uninterrupted operational continuity.

In high-risk and logistically challenging regions such as Iraq, establishing a military camp requires advanced engineering expertise, rapid mobilization, full compliance with military standards, and highly disciplined logistics management. Delivered within a base considered an active war zone and under intense operational traffic, this project clearly reflects DORÇE’s strong capability to successfully develop high-security projects through superior coordination and engineering competence under the most demanding conditions.

Military-Standard Accommodation and Living Areas with Modular Prefabricated Steel Building Systems

All buildings within the scope of the project were constructed in full compliance with the high standards required for military base projects. By utilizing Modular Prefabricated Steel Building Systems and modified ISO containers, off-site manufacturing and rapid on-site assembly principles were successfully implemented. The solution package provided by DORÇE included single-bed, multi-bed, and bunk-bed accommodation units specially designed for military operational conditions, in addition to WC, shower, and washbasin units, as well as office and administrative modules.

These modular living units provide both interior comfort and the structural durability required in operational military environments. They feature high-performance technical characteristics including strong thermal insulation, long service life, sustainability, and minimal maintenance needs.

Fully Integrated and Highly Reliable Technical Infrastructure Solutions for Military Bases

Within the scope of the project, all electrical and mechanical systems were installed as a fully integrated infrastructure solution. Power distribution networks and transformer systems, generator sets, HVAC systems, potable water supply, sewage and wastewater treatment systems, site lighting, and all related technical electrical infrastructure were designed and commissioned to the highest reliability standards to ensure uninterrupted continuation of military operations.
