🏗️ 2,400-Person Workforce Camp for PIPC Project – Engineered for Strength, Delivered with Precision

DORCE Prefabricated and Construction successfully delivered a turnkey Workforce Accommodation Camp for Pengerang Integrated Petrochemical Complex (PIPC) in Johor, Malaysia a strategic facility accommodating 2,400 personnel.

Using our Light Gauge Steel Frame (LGSF) Building – Closed Panelized System, the project included:
✔️ 14 four-story modular steel buildings
✔️ 36 one- and two-story modular steel units
✔️ Complete design & engineering
✔️ All electrical & mechanical works
✔️ Infrastructure & superstructure
✔️ Logistics, on-site installation, and final commissioning

The project was designed and executed in full compliance with ASTM American standards, with structures resistant to lateral forces and oceanic winds. Despite the region’s challenging soil conditions, four-story buildings were successfully built on a pile foundation system a milestone in modular steel construction using LGSF.

🔩 Built Strong. Delivered Fast. Engineered for the Future.

🔍 Note:
Closed Panelized System refers to a prefabrication method where wall, floor, and roof panels are pre-assembled with insulation, windows, internal linings, and sometimes MEP systems in the factory. These “closed panels” arrive at the construction site nearly complete, significantly reducing on-site work, improving quality control, and accelerating the building timeline a perfect solution for remote or high-demand locations.
