According to the “Construction Cost Index” published by Turkish Statical Institute in October 2021, it increased by 4.75% compared to the previous month and by 41.93% compared to the same month of the previous year. Compared to the previous month, the material index increased by 6.15% and the labor index increased by 1.06%. In addition, the material index increased by 50.47% and the labor index increased by 22.62% compared to the same month of the previous year. Less supply, increasing population and global inflation trigger price increases.

United Kingdom and Canada Found Solution to Housing Crisis in Modular Buildings
Canada has allocated a budget of 1 billion dollars for the rapid housing initiative it has started for citizens in need. Within the scope of this project, thousands of permanent modular residences will be built across the country.

In addition, United Kingdom has allocated a budget of 11.5 billion pounds for a cost-effective housing project for its citizens in need in the 5-year period covering 2021-2026. Within the scope of the project, approximately 180,000 modular residences will be built.
