She stated, ‘Prefabricated volumetric modular structures designed to meet various needs in different geographical regions and challenging climate conditions are completed turnkey (EPC- Engineering Procurement and Construction), including engineering, procurement, production, logistics, assembly, infrastructure, and superstructure works, as well as testing and commissioning, within our organization.’

– ‘Equal opportunity is a significant milestone’

Karahan highlighted that digital transformation, sustainable development, and the transition to a green economy are among the most crucial global requirements of our time. She stated, ‘Active participation and equal contributions from all segments of society are required to overcome this transition process. Women, constituting more than half of the world’s population, play a critical role in this journey.’

Karahan commented, ‘Our role in society and our achievements in the business world inspire women with leadership potential. Courageous women who take pioneering roles, break taboos, and make their voices heard are beacons of hope for future generations. Influential women leaders who leave their mark in every field, from science to art, politics to the business world, show us that anything is possible.’

Karahan explained that the 5th of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, grouped under the Green Deal, aims to achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls.

Emphasizing that women inherently have more sustainable consumption capabilities and tend to have more influence in household energy decisions, Karahan concluded, ‘Empowering women and girls and reducing household energy consumption are crucial milestones to achieve the goals set under the Green Deal. Circular economy is an economic model that reduces waste and pollution, allowing resources to be used more efficiently. Implementing this model leads to the emergence of new job opportunities and entrepreneurial opportunities. It is essential to equally offer these opportunities to women for both the economic empowerment of women and the success of the circular economy. With digital transformation, a new world order is being established. Educated, equipped, and strong women, leveraging technology effectively in this new order, should not only turn opportunities into reality but also contribute to the transformation of societies with reason, common sense, and a sense of justice. Happy International Women’s Day on March 8th.
